As a former foster youth who navigated the complexities of the child welfare system, our founder possesses a profound understanding of the challenges these individuals face. Her professional background spans diverse roles within the maritime, energy, and hospitality sectors, where she excelled as a Chef. These professional experiences, coupled with her lived history, inspired the establishment of the Roots to Resilience Foundation. She is dedicated to fostering environments that facilitate personal and economic growth for those within the system. By promoting healing, self-reliance, and sustainable employment, she aims to break generational cycles of trauma and empower a new cohort of independent, thriving professionals.
